Our sponsor, All Star Ford,
not only helped us put on this show again this year, and pick the Best of
Show winner, but also brought down some rolling stock to show off and let
people drool over. And to top it off, Mustangs West members drove the cars
down and back to the dealership...with big smiles on our mugs! |

Again, I have to say that this was a great weekend, spent with friends
looking, talking and enjoying our Mustangs. The day would not have been
possible without all the hard work put in by the members of Mustangs
West, all of whom pitched in one way or another to make the show
happen. Then of course there was all of our friends and fellow Mustang (and
Ford powered rodders) who came as well
to spend the day with us. Naturally without your participation none of
this would have been taking place. We all thank you and hope to see you and
more of your friends and family again next year. Additionally thanks go out to a couple people who are not members of Mustangs West, but who helped us to get the word out about the show and contributed to it's success. Bill Smallwood of Mustangs Northwest in Bellevue and of the state SVT Owners of America chapter took and distributed around north King County 12 of our posters and promoted the show through the SVT organization. Shelby Cox of the Young Owners club took an additional 12 posters and placed them in places where she knew they would get exposure in the Bellevue/Redmond area as well as in Burien where the younger members of the Mustang hobby congregate. The efforts of both were evident this year, especially in the number of cars in our teen class which went from 2-3 last year to 9 this year! Thank you both for the assistance. And last but surely not least, thanks go out again to Hugh Hillesland and Corey Wright, neither who are club members of any club, but who share a passion for the Mustang pony car, and who between them provided 90% of the photos you see on the previous pages. Thanks guys, we all appreciate the effort! And once again thanks to all who stopped by for an afternoon of fun with us, we hope you have a safe, and for those who are in the construction or re-building stages on your steeds a productive winter, and a fun Thanksgiving and Christmas season. And we look forward to seeing all of you in the New Year of 2004! |
