The minutes were accepted as on the web site.
The treasurer's report was read by Brenda and approved and seconded.
Jim announced the winner of the contest was Brenda there were 22 right guesses.
Adam announced there were 99-100 cars at our show. Adam gave a big thank you to Dayna, Jim, Sara, David, Mark, Clista, Brenda, Shirley for all their help at the show. And a special thanks to Karena for doing the 50/50 raffle.
Adam talked about the car that Al saw for sale. Dayna also talked about a car that is for sale by performance corner.
Jim also gave a big thanks to everyone that came out and helped him with parking. Jim mentioned that he needs a volunteer to write the thank you letter for the sponsors. Jean said she would help Jim write the letter. The raffle table and the goodie bags were outstanding this year. Jim wants to put someone in charge of the show starting in January.
The breakfast cruise was a great success. Thanks to Jean for putting it together. There also was a mention of having a breakfast cruise once a month.
Progressive Dinner is set for Saturday October 14th Jim & Adam will do the route. The meeting place is at the Yelm highway Safeway at 1:30 and leaving at 2:00PM sharp.
For the Christmas Party the club will buy the turkeys and hams and the soda everyone else needs to sing up for there favorite dish to bring at the next meeting. Taylor mention getting a liquor license so a motion was made and seconded to get a liquor license for the Christmas party.
New Business: Jim found a new meeting place Hawks Prairie Inn. It was motioned and seconded that we move our meeting to Hawks Prairie Inn starting in Nov. Adam asked for someone to volunteer to sit at Tumwater Valley Bar & Grill until 7:00PM for those members that don't know that we changed the meeting place. Tina Boos volunteer to do it.
Eric mention that his wife is going to put together a dinner/bowling .
Mark said that he and Clista would have the Halloween party at the party palace.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:45PM.
