*Meeting was called to order at 7:06pm by President Adam Jones
*Ballots were passed out for the "Member of the Year" award. The winning member
will be annouced at the Christmas dinner.
*Minutes are posted on-line and approved as posted.
*Treasuer report was given by Brenda and approved as read.
*New Business:
-Proceeds to charity from car show. What percent shpould we donate? Many ideas
came up for possible donation ways: Scholarships, grant applications, Money
should stay locally, Get the biggest bang for our buck, community focus,
shelters, fire victims. A Charitable commitee is now here. The following memebrs
have volunteered to help with this commitee: Eric and Holly Jensen, Chris
Hutchison, Ann Winters, Jean Doan and Jacob. Please contact any one of these
members about being involved or if you have and ideas. Currently the commitee is
locating needy familes to provide Christmas for.
-New Guest: Nick Hart: 67 & 69 Coupe 302 autos. Thanks to Al for finding him.
Also a new guest Mark "The Body Man".
-Web picture- Al won and passed along the winings to second place (Ted).
*Old Business:
-Points for year, Del has an up date running tally.
-Progressive Dinner: Thanks to those that helped host this event. Dinner was
very nice with great food. Aprox 10 min. was added to each stop this year and
dinner did not seem as rushed. Next year find the houses then find the hosts.
Plan out route with hosts.
-Halloween Party: Thank you Mark and Clista! Party was awesome.
-Timerline homecoming was fun. Got 4 conv. to come out and the home team won.
*Upcoming Events:
-Christmas Dinner- December 16th, 5pm. Main course is covered as follows: Jean
and Dave are cooking up 2 hams. Greg is cooking a turkey, and Judy is cooking a
turkey. Mark Rakow will be sending out an e-mail sign up list for side dishes
and deserts. Please forward all when you send back with what you are bring so we
can all plan accordingly. BYOB. Decorating party is meeting at 3pm. Decoraters
to date are: Brenda, Sara, Eric, Holly and Taylor. Brenda will be purchasing
gifts for any childern under 12 that will be attending the dinner. Please e-mail
her at b.costanzo.comcast.net with how many and ages. Please mark any Adult only
gifts. Bring gift with aprox. retail of $20 if you want to participate in the
gift exchange.
-Breakfast Cruise and Bowling: Novemebr 12th. Breakfast at Betty's Kitchen at
9pm and bowling to follow. Bowling is $2.75 a game, they have 50cent hot dogs
adn $5 pitchers of beer. Please e-mail Holly at hollyjensen_1999@comcast.com
-Membership renewal: Please pay your dues for the 07 year. If not paid by the
March meeting you info will be dropped from the roster. Also you must be a
current member to run for a board postion.
-Nominations for next years board will be at the January meeting. Februray the
Elections will be held. Start thinking now who you would like to see lead us
into the new year. Make sure to ask them if they are willing and uintrested
prior to nominating them at January meeting. Potential new committee: Show
comittee, lets get the ball rolling early.
-We will be getting a plaque on wall at Hawk's Praire to let others know where
we meet and possibly get some vistors.
