Mustangs West Meeting notes
August 3,2006

Adam called meeting to order at 7:04pm
Minutes: posted on the website and approved as posted.
Treasures report: Brenda presented and it was accepted as read
Guests: Randy & Lynette Brown, Bob & Andrea, Jim Mcnelley were in attendance.
Internet picture contest: Winner Ted, it was Emily’s car on Deschutes parkway
Old Business: Operation Backpack, will be delivering on Tuesday August 15th at 6:30 pm. At Chinook middle school. POC- Al.
-Last meeting club voted to use money to supply the progressive dinner. It has now been voted to cater our holiday party dinner. Progressive dinner will remain normal.
-Progressive dinner October 14th, still looking for a few volunteers. We currently have:
Patrick- last stop
Brian –Appetizers (possibly)
Mark & Clista- salads (possibly)
**Our car show**:
Raffle items- give to Sara Dash plaques have been decided on and will be made along with trophies. Meeting with city of Lacey: $25 per vendor- vendor spot for free as long as they sponsor a category. The fees involved with show are: $81 for park $108 for red cones parking lot block off. Brian is creating g a questionnaire for show to get some good feedback for next year. $25 to put up banner for next year must be paid a year in advance. Club voted to pay. Jean will stuff goody bags. Any stuff you get please give to Jean. Contact Jim on any show sponsors.
-Various car shows went on throughout last month and beginning of this month. All were great shows. Lake fair had an awesome turnout of aprox. 19 members. Jon has taken Dayna’s raffle prize crown. Lakefair parade went well. Thank you all for your support of local events and commitment to the club.
-Up to date points available from Del.
News Business: Many car shows are upcoming check the events calendar out. Send out an e-mail if you’re attending some shows or events to get a possible caravan going. P-51 Mustang event August 6th. Snoqualmie falls cruise Sunday 27th will be leaving sears parking lot at 9am. Be there by 8:45. Please bring your radio. Upcoming bowling night watch your e-mail, will be in Olympia/Lacey area.
